Later (fourth?) edition of an illustrated description of British game birds by Beverley Robinson Morris, the younger brother of the British ornithologist Francis Orpen Morris. He describes 69 species, of which 60 are shown on the hand-coloured plates, which occasionally show both male and female. Morris mentions how they look, where they can be found and how their eggs and nests look. If appropriate, he also mentions how the birds can be prepared to eat.
